Date : 5th May 2012
Venue : Bukit Tinggi, Pahang
Colmar Tropicale
Bukit Tinggi located in state of Pahang, only 1 hour's drive from KL through highway to Pantai Timur. It was my first time to be there. I didn't notice about this place before, even though the location is on my way back to my hometown because the exit way to be there is named "Exit to Berjaya Hill", not "Exit to Bukit Tinggi". So, if you all wanna go there, don't confused yourself to find the sign board for Bukit Tinggi okay.=)
Anything need to start with breakfast first..we had a sandwiches, snacks and soft drinks.
I joined this trip with my colleague. We reached there at early morning, about 8.30am. It was quite cold and cloud around us. I was struck with the beauty of the nature and also the attractive buildings there named Colmar Tropicale. The buildings and towers are just like at France since it is a replica of building collections at France. It was quite good for a person like me, not afford to go to France, at least I could feel the surroundings just alike at France.haha...

At Bukit Tinggi, there have a large area that we can explore such as Colmar Tropicale, The Rabbit Park, The Japanese Village, and Botanical Garden. The Japanese Village also has it's own attraction. There had a few ladies wear Kimono served us Japanese Tea and sharing the stories about their traditions. We also can wear the Kimono and take a photo shot but have to pay if I not mistaken RM20.

Botanical Garden at Bukit Tinggi had a beautiful landscape. It takes about an hour to complete our journey to explore the whole garden. We met with a various type of flowers and trees along the journey. In the middle of the track, also had a spa and massage cottage, but quite expensive to try..

The last point is The Rabbit Park. But not only rabbit, there also had deer, horse, and mule. All the rabbits are very cute and I love the white rabbit. To enter the park, we have to pay RM2.

We took a half day only to completely explore all the area in Bukit Tinggi. Before we went home, we stop by at the shop at Colmar Tropicale to view a little souvenir but is was quite expensive to buy. Same goes to food, there had a lot of restaurant, but very expensive. Luckily we already packed some food and drink for our breakfast.

After Bukit Tinggi, I had some planning for other destinations to explore. Hopefully planning will becomes reality in some day especially with my housemates, quite a long time we never had an activity together, only gathered at home with cooking party...hehe=))
